Performance in London
Next Tuesday, on May 22, at 5:30 PM, Françoise will perform at The Belgian Salons at the Belgian Embassy in London (36 Belgrave Square, Belgravia, London SW1X 8QB).
On the occasion of the Lecture on Schönenberg by Wim Oers, DPhil-Candidate in History, University of Oxford - Oriel College, there is a musical intermezzo by soprano Françoise Vanhecke, Soprano, Professor of Singing, PhdCandidate of Arts (Music), UGent.
She will perform 'Russian Landscape for Françoise', for Soprano and Tape (with extended techniques) by Marina Shmotova, and Romance Romana (pianosolo) by Irma Bilbao.

It was a wonderful time and the performance went super! I had to do also an improvisation because the CD with the Electronics on which I sang which should had to stop, didn't. The person who had to control it did probably a wrong manipulation....So I went on improvising on Baroc music that went on by Biber which was in fact a very nice flow over that inspired me because of the subject what the Lectures was about.
